The Weekly Tart
Please Note: All orders placed in April will be delivered starting the 5th of May. After that, if an order is placed before 12pm on Wednesday, the box will be delivered on the next Sweet Thursday; after 12pm on Wednesday, orders will be taken for the following week.
This box brings a different pie, tart, or galette to your workplace each Thursday, showcasing the best fruits of each season. The following are some of our favorites. Lemon Tart with Hearts: a crisp paste sablee crust filled with sweet-tart lemon curd and topped with shortbread hearts. Rhubarb Cream Pie: a flaky all-butter dough filled with organic rhubarb, swirled with just enough cream to balance the tart taste. Double Crusted Apple Pie: flaky, all-butter crust filled with lightly sweetened, caramelized apples and cinnamon. Pear-Brown Butter: a shortbread crust filled with a smooth, brown butter and custard filling that bakes around tender poached pears. Chocolate Cream Pie: the diner classic, with flavors heightened by Callebaut bittersweet chocolate, and fresh local cream.
Each 9" tart serves 8-10 people.
